NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude tumbles $1.78 to $29.42 a barrel
HOUSTON, January 15, 2016 (PCW) -- February NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.78/bbl to $29.42/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.92 to $31.01/bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.43/bbl favoring WTI. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.9 cents at $2.100/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0212 pg, down 4.72 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mixed versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 10.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 10.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB increased to 8.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.99/bbl, $3.02/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
