NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude closes at $26.55 while natural gas gains
HOUSTON, January 20, 2016 (PCW) -- February NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.91/bbl to $26.55/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.93 to $27.88/bbl. The March Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.47/bbl favoring WTI.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.7 cents at $2.118/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0177 pg, down 0.85 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended lower versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 10.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 10.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 5.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 5.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB decreased to 8.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.42/bbl, $2.65/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
