NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with loss; natgas sees gains
HOUSTON, January 25, 2016 (PCW) -- March NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.85/bbl to $30.34/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.33 to $30.65/bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.31/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.9 cents at $2.139/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.03/gal, down 5.38 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mostly stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 6.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 6.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium rose to 15.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 15.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB decreased to 8 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.37/bbl, $0.82/bbl under the screen. –- John Troland.
