NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude closes above $31, natural gas climbs
HOUSTON, January 26, 2016 (PCW) -- March NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.11/bbl to $31.45/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.19 to $31.84/bbl. The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.39/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.2 cents at $2.180/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0472 pg, up 1.72 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mostly lower versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 15.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 15.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB increased to 7.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.51/bbl, $1.21/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
