NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude still charts higher; natgas, gasoline gain

Houston, January 28, 2016 (PCW) —- March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.92/bbl to $33.22/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.02 to $33.91/bbl.

The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.69/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.5 cents at $2.182/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.0790/gal, up 3.33 cpg.

US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.56/bbl, $1.16/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
