NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline move up
HOUSTON, January 24, 2017 (PCW) — February NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.43/bbl to $53.18/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.15/bbl to $55.38/bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.20/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.6 cents at $3.279/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5759/gal, up 0.92 cpg.
January gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was unchanged at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 13.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 13.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB rose to 3.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.01/bbl, $2.67/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
