NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline finish lower; nat gas rallies

HOUSTON, January 25, 2017 (PCW) — February NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.43/bbl to $52.75/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.39/bbl to $54.99/bbl.

The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.24/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 5.3 cents at $3.279/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5238/gal, down 5.24 cpg.

January gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.85/bbl, $2.25/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
