NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline rally; nat gas probes lower
HOUSTON, January 31, 2017 (PCW) -- March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.18/bbl to $52.81/bbl. March Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.18/bbl to $55.48/bbl.
The March Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.67/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 11.5 cents at $3.117/mmBtu. February NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5256/gal, up 2.01 cpg.
January gasoline differentials were stronger versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was up at 11.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 11.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at parity to the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.44/bbl, $1.73/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
