NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas open week with slight gains
HOUSTON, October 3, 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.57/bbl to $48.81/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.70/bbl to $50.91/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.51/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.7 cents at $2.923/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.46705/gal, up 0.74 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was up at 0.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 1.00 cpg over the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium rose to 15.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was stronger at 16.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 0.75 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.02/bbl, $1.09 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
