NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; nat gas advances
HOUSTON, October 4, 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.12/bbl to $48.69/bbl. Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.06/bbl to $50.97/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.61/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.1 cents at $2.964/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4996/gal, up 2.91 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were weaker versus Monday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at flat to the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 0.25 cpg over the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was down at 15.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 15.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 0.50 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.83/bbl, $2.23 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
