NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Oil rises above $50, nat gas up slightly
HOUSTON, October 6 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.61/BBL, to $50.44. Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.73 to $52.58.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.60/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 0.8 cent at $3.049/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4978 pg, up 0.50 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 0.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 17.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 17.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.75 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.72/bbl, $1.12 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
