NYMEX Friday Wrap: WTI back below $50/bbl; nat gas continues ascent

HOUSTON, October 7, 2016 (PCW) -- November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.63/bbl to $49.81/bbl. Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.68/bbl to $51.90/bbl.

The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.52/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 14.4 cents at $3.193/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4818/gal, down 1.60 cpg.

 October gasoline differentials were weaker versus Thursday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.35/bbl, $1.44/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland.
