NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with losses

HOUSTON, October 17 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.41/bbl to $49.94/bbl. Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.35/bbl to $51.56/bbl.

The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.19/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.1 cents at $3.244/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4924/gal, down 0.12 cpg.

October gasoline differentials were weaker versus Friday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.47/bbl, $3.16 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
