NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude rallies; nat gas plummets
HOUSTON, October 19, 2016 (PCW) -- November NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.31/bbl to $51.60/bbl. Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.07/bbl to $52.74/bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.92/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 9.3 cents at $3.170/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5136/gal, up 0.79 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was up at 5.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 5.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 12.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 12.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.21/bbl, $2.80 /bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
