NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline extend losses
HOUSTON, October 20, 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.17/bbl to $50.43/bbl. Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.35/bbl to $51.39/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.76/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.9 cents at $3.141/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4937/gal, down 1.99 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
-A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 7.25 cpg under the screen.
-CBOB 87 was lower at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
-D3 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 11.75 cpg over the screen.
-CBOB 93 was down at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
-RBOB fell to 5.50 cpg under the screen.
-The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.97/bbl, $3.26/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
