NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with slight loss, nat gas plummets
HOUSTON, October 24, 2016 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.33/bbl to $50.52/bbl. Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.41/bbl to $51.41/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.89/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 16.2 cents at $2.831/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5038/gal, down 2.76 cpg.
October gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was flat at 6.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was unchanged at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 held firm at 11.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.02/bbl, $3.08 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
