US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise the most in two years

HOUSTON, October 26, 2016 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories increased by 412,000 bbls (13.7%) to 3.427 million bbls, the Energy Department reported today. It was the highest level recorded since early June, following eight inventory builds over the past ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. The single-week inventory build was the largest in two years. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization was 0.2 percentage point lower at 85.9%.  -- David Barry
