NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with steep losses
HOUSTON, October 31, 2016 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.84/bbl to $46.86/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.82/bbl to $47.91/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.05/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.9 cents at $3.026/mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4495/gal, down 1.96 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was up at 7.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 10.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 11.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB increased to 6.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.77/bbl, $3.49 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
