US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise first time in four weeks
HOUSTON, October 4, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories gained 176,000 bbls (5.6%) to 3.308 million bbls for the week of September 29, the Energy Department reported today. It was the first rise in four weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are slightly above the 52-week average of 3.254 million bbls. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast refinery utilization was up less than a percentage point at 85.6%. -- David Barry
