NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude slides; nat gas, gasoline make gains
HOUSTON, October 4 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.44/bbl at $49.98/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.38/bbl at $55.74/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $5.44/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.5 cents at $ 2.940 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5805 gal, up 1.50 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium rose to 13.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was stronger at 13.25 over the screen.
RBOB increased to 1.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.68 bbl, $7.43/bbl under the screen.
