NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline make gains; nat gas softens
HOUSTON, October 5 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.81/bbl at $50.79/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.16/bbl at $56.90/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $5.75/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.7 cents at $ 2.923 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6114 gal, up 3.09 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 0.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 0.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 14.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 14.00 over the screen.
RBOB increased to 1.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.13 bbl, $7.21/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
