NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil dips below $50, nat gas drops 6 cts
HOUSTON, October 6 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.50/bbl at $49.29/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.22/bbl at $55.68/bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.03/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.0 cents at $ 2.863 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5588 gal, down 5.26 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Thursday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 0.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 0.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 15.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was unchanged at 14.00 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.73 bbl, $7.04/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
