NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline open week with gains; nat gas softens
HOUSTON, October 9 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.29/bbl at $49.58/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.15/bbl at $55.83/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.90/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.0 cents at $ 2.833 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5594 gal, up 0.06 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were weaker versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was down at 13.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 13.25 over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.73 bbl, $7.04/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
