NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas dips
HOUSTON, October 11, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.38/bbl at $51.30/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.16/bbl at $56.87/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.27/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.2 cents at $ 2.889 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6092 gal, up 1.77 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at1.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 8.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.25 over the screen.
RBOB rose to 2.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.99 bbl, $7.77/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
