US nonfuel use propylene supplies decline
HOUSTON, October 12, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories declined 272,000 bbls (8.2%) to 3.036 million bbls for the week of October 6, the Energy Department reported today. It was the fourth drop in the past five weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are nearly 7% below the 52-week average of 3.259 million bbls. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast refinery utilization was up up almost 3 percentage points at 88.5%.
