NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline make gains
HOUSTON, October 17, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.01/bbl at $51.88/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.05/bbl at $57.81/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $5.65/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.6 cents at $2.962 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6301 gal, up 1.32 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Monday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 7.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 7.75 over the screen.
RBOB fell to 3.75cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.94 bbl, $8.16/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
