US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for second week
HOUSTON, October 18, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories declined 129,000 bbls (4.2%) to 2.907 million bbls for the week of October 13, the Energy Department reported today. It was the fifth drop in the past six weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are nearly 11% below the 52-week average of 3.256 million bbls. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast refinery utilization was up almost 5 percentage points at 83.7%.
