NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas declines
HOUSTON, October 18, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.16/bbl at $52.04/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.33/bbl at $58.14/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $5.88/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 10.8 cents at $2.854 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6429 gal, up 1.28 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 7.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 7.50 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 4.00cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.04 bbl, $8.16/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
