NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude falls; nat gas, gasoline gains
HOUSTON, October 19, 2017 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.75/bbl at $51.29/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.92/bbl at $57.22/bbl.
The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.71/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.9 cents at $2.873 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6447 gal, up 0.18 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 6.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 6.25 over the screen.
RBOB was weaker at 4.75cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.09 bbl, $7.55/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
