NYMEX Monday Wrap: Oil is steady near $52, nat gas rises
HOUSTON, October 23, 2017 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.06/bbl at $51.90/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.32/bbl at $57.43/bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $5.53/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.6 cents at $2.991 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6783 gal, up 0.02 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were mostly higher versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 5.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 6.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 6.50 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 5.50cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.36 bbl, $8.94/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
