August NGL production down 1.4% month-on-month: EIA data
HOUSTON, October 31, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids fell 1.586 million barrels, or 1.4%, in August to 114.827 million barrels (3.7 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Tuesday.
Ethane production came in at 41.646 million barrels (1.34 million b/d), down 1.181 million barrels from July. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 37.904 barrels (1.22 million b/d) in August, down 228,000 barrels from July.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane: 9.537 million barrels (307,645 b/d), up 625,000 barrels from July;
· Isobutane: 11.049 million barrels (356,419 b/d), a decrease of 681,000 barrels;
· Natural gasoline: 14.691 million barrels (473,903 b/d), a 121,000 barrel decrease.
