August NGL exports almost unchanged, ethane hits fresh high
HOUSTON, October 31, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids exports dipped 68,000 barrels to 39.414 million barrels (1.27 million b/d) in August compared to July.
Propane exports fell 1.629 million barrels in August to 22.31 million barrels (719,677 b/d). Ethane exports marked another an all-time high of 6.515 million barrels (210,161 b/d) in August, up 2.632 million barrels month-on-month. Butane exports came in at 5.302 million barrels (171,032 b/d), up 1.637 million barrels from July.
Other NGLs’ export data is as follows:
· Isobutane: up 125,000 barrels in August to 216,000 barrels (6,968 b/d);
· Natural gasoline: 5.07 million barrels (163,548 b/d), a 500,000 barrel decrease.
