NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude extends loss; gasoline jumps on Colonial disruption
HOUSTON, November 1, 2016 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.19/bbl to $46.67/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.43/bbl to $48.18/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.94/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 12.9 cents at $2.902/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4841/gal, up 6.46 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were weaker versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 15.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was weaker at 15.50 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was down at 2.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 2.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 14.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.77/bbl, $6.35 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
