NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude sees strong gains; nat gas gives up ground

HOUSTON, November 15, 2016 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $2.49/bbl to $45.81/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.49/bbl to $46.89/bbl.

The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.50/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4 cents at $2.709/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3350/gal, up 5.72 cpg.

November gasoline differentials were mostly stronger versus Monday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $7.69/bbl, $4.09 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
