NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas close week with gains; gasoline extends losses
HOUSTON, November 18, 2016 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.27/bbl to $45.69/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.30/bbl to $46.81/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.45/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 14.0 cents at $2.843/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3391/gal, down 0.39 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was up at 8.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 8.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.33/bbl, $3.88/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
