NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with strong gains
HOUSTON, November 21, 2016 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.80/bbl to $47.49/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.05/bbl to $48.86/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.62/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 10.7 cents at $2.950/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3965/gal, up 6.68 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was unchanged at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 8.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was firm at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.04/bbl, $3.92/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
