NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; nat gas, gasoline extend gains
HOUSTON, November 22, 2016 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.21/bbl to $48.03/bbl January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.23/bbl to $49.09/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.06/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.2 cents at $2.982/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4098/gal, up 1.33 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 6.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was softer at 6.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was unchanged at 11.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.29/bbl, $3.92/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
