NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude sees slight dip; nat gas advances past $3 mark
HOUSTON, November 23, 2016 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.07/bbl to $47.96/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.06/bbl to $49.03/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.07/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.4 cents at $3.026/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4217/gal, up 1.19 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 10.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was up at 7.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 8.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.96/bbl, $3.52/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
