NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude shoots up on OPEC cuts; nat gas, gasoline gain
HOUSTON, November 30, 2016 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled up $4.21/bbl to $49.44/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $3.67/bbl to $50.18/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.74/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.7 cents at $3.352/mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4908/gal up11.37 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were steady to weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was firm at 10.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 7.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was softer at 7.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was unchanged at 9.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.98/bbl, $3.69/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
