US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop to lowest level since April
HOUSTON, November 1, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell by 156,000 bbls (-5.8%) to 2.522 million bbls for the week of October 27, the Energy Department reported today. It was the fourth consecutive weekly decline, and the seventh in the past ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. It was the lowest level for propylene stocks since early Apr 2017. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization edged up 0.2 percentage point to 90.4%. -- David Barry
