NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with strong gains
HOUSTON, November 6, 2017 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.71/bbl at $57.35/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.31/bbl at $64.21/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.64/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 15.0 cents at $3.134 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8300 gal, up 3.66 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium rose to 9.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 9.00 over the screen.
RBOB was stronger at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.97 bbl, $8.11/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
