US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise for first time in five weeks
HOUSTON, November 8, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories edged up 51,000 barrels (2%) to 2.573 million barrels for the week of November 3, the Energy Department reported today. It was the first inventory build in five weeks and only the third increase in ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are still about 20% below the 52-week average. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization was up 1.9 percentage points at 92.3%. -- David Barry
