NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas increase; gasoline softens
HOUSTON, November 9, 2017 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.36/bbl at $57.17/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.43/bbl at $63.89/bbl.
The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $6.50/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.5 cents at $3.200 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8197 gal, down 0.16 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium fell to 6.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 5.75 over the screen.
RBOB declined to 4.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.95 bbl, $9.09/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
