US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise for second week
HOUSTON, November 15, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories climbed 49,000 barrels (1.9%) to 2.622 million barrels last week, the US Department of Energy reported today. It was the second straight inventory build, but stock levels were still 10% lower versus four weeks ago, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories have risen in three of the past ten weeks. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization edged up 0.5 percentage point to 92.8% last week, but still remained below levels in the mid-90s seen before Hurrican Harvey. -- David Barry
