US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for first time in three weeks
HOUSTON, November 22, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 21,000 barrels (-0.8%) to 2.601 million barrels for the week of November 17, the Energy Department reported today. Inventories have fallen in seven of the past ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. The three weekly EIA reports so far in November have seen inventories fluctuating in a narrow range, following a series of four large drops in October that brought propylene stocks down from around 3.3 million barrels to their current level. US Gulf refinery utilization last week slipped 2.2 percentage points to 90.6%. -- David Barry
