US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for second week
HOUSTON, November 29, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 49,000 barrels (-1.9%) to 2.552 million barrels for the week of November 24, the Energy Department reported today. Inventories have dropped in nine of the past 12 weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. The four weekly EIA reports so far in November have seen inventories fluctuating in a narrow range, following a series of four large drops in October that brought propylene stocks down from around 3.3 million barrels to their current level. US Gulf refinery utilization last week surged 3.8 percentage points to 94.4%.
