September NGL production down 3.5% month-on-month: EIA data
HOUSTON, November 30, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids fell 4.048 million barrels, or 3.5%, in September to 110.779 million barrels (3.69 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Thursday.
Ethane production came in at 39.065 million barrels (1.3 million b/d), down 2.581 million barrels from August. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 37.072 barrels (1.24 million b/d) in September, down 832,000 barrels from August.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
Butane: 9.728 million barrels (324,267 b/d), up 8,000 barrels from August;
Isobutane: 10.665 million barrels (355,500 b/d), a decrease of 384,000 barrels;
Natural gasoline: 14.249 million barrels (474,967 b/d), a 442,000 barrel decrease.
