NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude drops below $37; Natural gas declines

HOUSTON, December 10, 2015 (PCW) -- January NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.40/bbl to $36.76/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.04 to $39.85/bbl.

The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $3.09/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.7 cents at $2.015/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.2802 pg, up 4.85 cpg.

US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were higher versus Wednesday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.97/bbl, $3.27/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
