December PGP contracts begin to settle with an increase
HOUSTON, December 14, 2015 (PCW) -– Initial agreements for the December polymer-grade propylene contract were confirmed Monday at 32 cpp, up 0.5 cpp from November.
This was 0.5 cpp less than the nomination issued in late November at 32.5 cpp for PGP.
The PGP contract price began 2015 at 49.5 cpp and after rising to 50.5 cpp in Feb, declined each month until reaching 30 cpp in Sep. Oct contracts were up 0.5 cpp increase and Nov increased 1 cpp.
Spot Dec PGP was assessed at 29.25 cpp on Monday, down 0.125 cpp from Friday. For the month-to-date, Dec PGP has averaged 29.444 cpp. – Samantha Hartke
