NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Energy futures close broadly lower, WTI below $40/bbl
HOUSTON, December 2, 2015 (PCW) -- January NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.91/bbl to $39.94/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.83 to $42.51/bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.57/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.6 cents at $2.165/mmBtu. January NYMEX RBOB futures closed at 129.31 cpg, down 6.99 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 12.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was declined to 12.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was up at 10.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 increased to 10.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 12.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.92/bbl, $5.62/bbl under the screen.
